  • The Problem

Across Australia, growers dispose of millions of plastic coir bags every year. If there is $1 per bag budgeted for disposal, the financial burden adds up quickly. For you, this cost may have led to large-scale stockpiling, creating serious environmental and logistical challenges.

  • The Solution – Rock-RX

Marshall Machinery has developed an end-to-end substrate processing system that enables:

    • Mechanical separation of substrate (coir or rockwool) from plastic

    • Recycling of clean substrate for use on-farm or for resale

    • Compaction of plastic waste for easier disposal

    • Operational safety, efficiency, and labour savings
