Another configuration is a single side delivery unit. This has two rotors spinning clockwise to throw all the material out to the right hand side, this is generally used in an orchard situation when two pass mowing is required. A further option is both rotors spinning into the centre to leave the material mid row or directly behind the unit.

Drop centres are designed for V shaped or delved ground, they have two rotor gearboxes that are on individually floating wings that follow the contours of the V ground. They have one main power divider that drives the two rotor gear boxes at 40 degree angles via two short star shaft pto shafts. The hinges use a full length 22mm stainless steel hinge pins and allow the unit to mow up to a 15 degree V on each wing or 30 degree combined. Drop centres come standard with two rear rollers and three front rollers to keep snug to the ground contour.

Pasture toppers are essentially a Twin Rotor unit with the main difference being a higher tip or peripheral speed to cover the ground
at quicker speeds – required for pasture rejuvenation or stubble cutting. They generally cut slightly higher than a standard slasher and are designed for taking the top of established pastures or paddocks at a slightly higherspeed. Pasture toppers can be supplied as a skid run model or with rear castor wheels.

This unit is a three point linkage hybrid of the Piranha Flex wing. Ideal for roadside mowing with the unit folding for road transport whilst still giving the benefits of the Flexwing style slasher. The three point linkage mount delivers precise control around obstacles, coupled with the versatility of the floating wing.

• Hydraulic Wings fold up to 90 degrees for transport and will float down slope to 15 degrees.
